Desmos Graphing Calculator App Reviews

I use Desmos instead of my TI-84 plus CE I my calculus class. I save all my functions from class and revisit them at home.

It works perfectly for what I need it for and its free, if you need to graph things quickly this is great! Not the best interface for seeing the graph but this is very minor. Great app, Ill be using it often.

I downloaded this app to use for my finite mathematics class. I originally used it via a website through the computer but wanted something a little more hands-on. This app is great for creating clear graphs and diagrams and helped make my semester a success.

I rarely write 5-star reviews, but this is worth it. Its user-friendly and I rarely experience glitches when using it. Its good for elementary students, secondary students, university students, and others who use algebra, trigonometry, etc. It works well for computations and graphing. Personally, I like it more than my TI-84 CE graphing calculator because its easier to enter information and change the "viewing window" to answer specific questions. I think that this apps developer(s) are missing a valuable financial opportunity by making it free.

Has a wide variety of applications and uses.

I make synthesizers, and this is heavily responsible for some of my current ideas, I can check out waveforms and harmonics that will result from certain dsp techniques just playing with the functions and sliders. Its so rad that you can animate the sliders at different rates. Really this is the coolest math app ever, by far.

I was reading through a book about Riemann called Prime Obsession and wanted to graph alongside with the authors examples. Fortunately, I came came across this app. It is perfect, but what really blew me away was the simplicity and power of the app. Spend some time with included examples to see what Im talking about. I love stumbling across well designed apps like this one.
